ScreenFix is a diagnostic tool. You upload screenshots or short recordings of a computer problem. We use that media to produce numbered repair steps.
What we store. Your email, hashed password (or a Supabase user id), credit balance, and the cases you choose to save. Unsaved uploads expire about an hour after diagnosis and are deleted from local disk or the configured R2 bucket.
What we send to models. When a vision API key is configured, image frames and your optional question are sent to OpenAI or Anthropic to produce a diagnosis. Please don’t upload screenshots that show passwords, payment cards, or ID documents. If one slips through, we skip the diagnosis and delete the file.
Payments. Card details are handled by Stripe. We store a customer id and subscription id so we can meter credits and open the billing portal.
Cookies. An HTTP-only session cookie keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.
Questions: email the operator listed in your deployment, or run the app locally with no third-party keys at all.
